Steve Lapham

Steve Lapham joined Viewpointe in 2003 and oversees the company’s legal, audit and human resources departments. Lapham’s responsibilities include handling corporate governance and business transactions for the company, as well as overseeing litigation, human resources, audit and areas of risk management. Lapham’s professional background includes six years in private practice at the Charlotte law firm of Gerdes, Mason, Simpson & Lapham, LLP, where he handled both business transactions and civil litigation. Prior to joining Viewpointe, Lapham was Associate General Counsel at Sonic Automotive, Inc., a Fortune 300 corporation, where he handled transactional work, governmental/regulatory issues and managed litigation for the company. Lapham graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor.
