Rich Walsh

Rich Walsh joined Viewpointe in 2001 and is the President of OnPointe Services. In this role, Walsh is responsible for the business strategy and product management of Viewpointe’s records management archive solutions. This includes enhancements and strategic development of a comprehensive suite of image storage offerings, including OnPointe™ the digital storage and records management solution. Previously, Walsh served as Viewpointe’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s operations and technology development, focusing on image sharing and exchange, disaster recovery, business continuity and the company’s next generation architecture. With a focus on records management archive, Walsh has spoken at and written for various industry organizations including TAWPI Capture Conference and written articles for ECM Connection, among others. Walsh has more than 25 years of operational information technology experience, including nine years at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he was responsible for an operational and business transformation outsourcing arrangement supporting American Express Bank, LTD. Walsh also worked for EBS Dealing Resources, Inc., a global electronic foreign exchange broker, as a special consultant to the CEO, where he was responsible for transforming a legacy production environment into a distributed, open platform-based architecture. Walsh holds a B.A. from Montclair State University and an AMP from Harvard Business School.
