National City Charts Image Course, Chooses Viewpointe
NATIONAL CITY CHARTS IMAGE COURSE, CHOOSES VIEWPOINTE
Cleveland, OH –Viewpointe Archive Services, LLC, announced today an agreement with National City Corporation (NYSE: NCC), a financial holding company with assets of over $100 billion that operates banks and other financial services subsidiaries in six Midwestern states, to enhance National City’s image-enabling capabilities. The agreement will allow National City to utilize Viewpointe’s national image archive and its web-based image retrieval capability, theImagePlacesm, to electronically store and access check images.
Viewpointe, the largest provider of image archive and technology services for U.S.-based financial institutions, will provide National City the ability to immediately access certain check images and provide that information through new products and existing channels. This functionality will allow National City to introduce service enhancements and prepare for the introduction of the check truncation act.
