First Tennessee Implements Viewpointe's Image Archive On Schedule- From Decision to Implementation in Only Sixth Months


FIRST TENNESSEE IMPLEMENTS VIEWPOINTE'S IMAGE ARCHIVE ON SCHEDULE- FROM DECISION TO IMPLEMENTATION IN ONLY SIXTH MONTHS


Memphis, TN - After only six months from signing agreements, First Tennessee (ticker: FTN), Check Solutions, and Viewpointe Archive Services have implemented a check and document image archive and retrieval service at First Tennessee. Check Solutions worked with the bank to implement image capture and archive loading. Viewpointe is archiving images of checks and transaction documents processed by First Tennessee, including those from its First Express check clearing and First Express remittance processing operations. Viewpointe is also supporting high-speed retrieval of these images for back office operations.

In the near future, all First Tennessee customers will be able to access their checks directly online via a standard Internet browser. Not only is First Tennessee improving their external customer service, internal employees also have the same fast access to items such as general ledger tickets - enabling them to get their work completed more efficiently.
